Telehealth Services

**PLEASE NOTE:   

As the increasing demand for services continues to limit our availability, we unfortunately cannot accept as many new patients as we would like.  PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS FOR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, and we are close to capacity for counseling availability and may not be able to accommodate requests for that service. We encourage you to inquire anyway if interested, as spots may randomly become available, however we cannot guarantee that there will be availability. 

As telehealth services have become more accepted, we will continue to utilize this approach when necessary. We regret having to put specific qualifications in place, but as we continue to move forward through the "new normal", we need to put ourselves in the best possible position to offer the quality of treatment that is deserved. Striving to be efficient on the administrative side of things allows us more time and energy to dedicate to patient care. To help us provide the best possible treatment experience, the following criteria must be met to proceed with engagement in services:

• Access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone, for if/when services will be provided through a telehealth format
• Access to email to receive necessary new patient documentation that can be e-signed and returned
• Availability for appointments mainly during day-time hours (approximately 9am-6pm), evening hours are much more limited 
• The ability to verify with your insurance carrier that they will cover telehealth visits, that we are in-network, and if any copays, co-insurances, or deductible costs may apply
• Additionally, at this time we will be unable to accept anyone requiring mandated treatment through the Judicial system, DCF, EAP, or any other similar entity

For Adults:

• Participating insurance carriers include: Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Husky/Medicaid, and United Health Care (Connecticare, Harvard Pilgrim, Oxford, UHC)
• Self-pay options can also be considered

For Children/Adolescents (more limited availability): 

• Ages 9-17
• Participating insurance carriers include: Anthem, Cigna, and Husky/Medicaid
• Self-pay options can also be considered

Not providing all the required information may result in us not providing a response. As noted above, we regret having to be more stringent than normal in this process, but we are doing so to ensure we can focus on efforts more so on patient care than other administrative tasks.
